Just wanted to remind yall of a few things and also make sure our Newbies know what’s going on:
- If you are one of our 432 newbies this year, make sure you read/download our Newbie Guide so you know what in the world to expect this fall.
And don’t forget about visiting our Newbie Zone on Oct 16 during packet pickup party so you can ask questions, make your hometown signs, score some newbie swag, and meet hundreds of new besties. There will be an official Newbie Reception with yummy toasts between 5:45-6:15pm that includes a few PTP shenanigans
- Our official Weekend at a Glance will be released on June 30. We’ve had to make some small changes to the schedule and update a few explanations so please make sure you read this when we post it.
- Our official 2025 App should be available by Sept 1 and we will email yall as soon as it is live.
- A reminder that our deadline for EVERYTHING this year is September 15 at noon eastern.
a. Whatever your fundraising total is at this time will determine what prizes you receive (we need time to order everything and get organized behind the scenes). So please don’t wait too long with your ingenious fundraising events!
b. Your bib data needs to be 100% correct including name, hometown, shirt size, newbie status, food preferences, survivor status, prize opt-in or out, and any bus tickets you RSVP for or Dataw parking space you won at the auction. All of this information can be verified in your dashboard.
c. Don’t know if you signed up for buses or bingo or parking spots? Check out these weekly-updated Rosters in your dashboard.
- Bringing friends/family to cheer you on? Everyone is invited to join our festivities and funny activities! Guest lunch tickets will be available for purchase at the event.
- For our Newbies, while Sept 15 is your fundraising deadline to receive specific prizes, our 2025 bank account will accept all donations through Oct 31 at 11:59 eastern. Then the pages will reset and all future donations go to our 2026 campaign!
Psst – the board normally votes on how to distribute the funds to the pre-approved charities in mid November and then checks will likely be mailed in mid-late December. Submit your charity to the board for approval here
- Speaking of 2026, we will announce next year’s location immediately after our survivor celebration at Dataw (appx 12:45pm). You’ll want to be there to get the info first so you can not only register at the cheapest price, but then you can also book your accommodations before the masses snag the good stuff! Our 2026 dates are Oct 15-18. Yay.
