Q: What’s the theme thing all about? Can’t I just wear pink?

A: Pink and flamingos are always in season at PTP weekend so feel free to dress accordingly. Our special theme this year is Walking in a Winter Wonderland so we’ll have some classic snow and wintry displays out this year, too. Feel free to dress up (or not) however you feel most comfortable. Costumes aren’t required but they sure are a hoot! Same with the House Decorating Contest and Golf Cart Parade – tacky up your yard and cart however you want. Use flamingos, polar bears, crows, or whatever your little heart desires. There are no rules!

Q: I heard that Anita Pop won’t be at Bingo this year. Say it ain’t so!

A: It ain’t so!

Q: How can I find other registrants that live nearby?

A: Sign into your dashboard and go to the list of rosters; select Registrant Roster and sort or search by location.

Q: When does training start?

A: Uh, two weeks ago! But have no fear, our popular 12-week training schedule starts JULY 28 so you aren’t too late!

Q: How do I join a fundraising team?

A: Navigate to the fundraising section of your dashboard and select the option to join or create a team. To join an existing team, select the team you wish to join from the dropdown.

Q: How do I change my fundraising team?

A: Please email info@pledgethepink.com with the name of the team you’d like to join

Q: I joined a race team. Why am I not on the fundraising team?

A: Race teams and fundraising teams are handled separately. You must join both.

Q: I updated my team/bus selection/bingo/etc. Why doesn’t it show on the roster now?

A: Our rosters are not automatically updated. Mel updates those manually on a weekly basis. You should see yourself listed in the next roster update (usually on Wednesday evenings).  You can check rosters here.

Q: I did a company match. Why hasn’t it been posted yet?

A: Companies typically use a giving platform to disperse their charitable contributions. Each platform is a little different, but we’ve seen employee matches take as long as 90 days to reach us. Once the funds have reached us they will be credited to your account, as long as your name is indicated to receive credit.

Q: Are we sold out yet? Can my friends still register?

A: Our registration roster fluctuates daily with people canceling so the short answer is – keep signing them up! The system will accept them if there is room or it will put them on a wait list. Psst – we still don’t have anyone from South Dakota yet so yall put some feelers out, will ya?!
