Y’all, when we say that OKI is rolling out the pink carpet for us… we ain’t kidding!
We are being treated like royalty and I mean EVERYONE is bending over backwards to make sure Oct 15-18 is truly the best darn weekend of your life.
- Free 60 min yoga classes to help you stretch out at the finish lines everyday
- A nice combo of food trucks AND boxed lunches from some of your favorite eateries in town
- Discounts on golf carts
- Free trollies to the survivor luncheon for those without a car (can’t drive a golf cart there)
- A record long 2-mile golf cart parade because most of the locals want to join the fun!
- So many sponsors have already committed to supporting us
- A dear resident has given us a deeply discounted (and huge) storage facility for all our birdies and equipment
- The tent/table/chair rental company has given us a neighborly discount
- The OKI hearts PTP yard signs are popping up everywhere already
- BOOM – Your coolers are OK in the park so that’s a sweet cost savings for you!
We’ve also made some tweaks to cram in even more fun and shenanigans that weekend
- Our hysterical karaoke & dance party will be Thursday from 7-9:30pm (the perfect way to meet all your new off-key besties)
- Friday’s start and finish lines will be a few blocks to the west of the park at the infamous Elk’s Lodge. For those of you that were part of 2023, you know what that means (and the rest of you soon will – OMG)! Note that the after-party will be back at the park.
- Fabien and Anita are back with a few friends to laugh your abs off at Friday night’s BINGO
- Saturday night’s party will be a fun blend of live auction and 80’s trivia night
- We’ve tacked on ANOTHER PARTY for Sunday evening so we can boogie and selfie with all the new BFFs; the entire community has been invited and the restaurants are all bringing heavy hors d’oeuvres (5-6:30pm)
- We adjusted the courses a bit to put them in a better order for you (and with more adult pitstops)
