Dear Diary,
What. In. The. Heck. Just. Happened??????
We went to Fripp and had a blast and then the next thing we know we’re in Oak Island screaming about a million dollar victory.
And now it is starting all over again. What in the world.
As usual, I digress. Please let me explain…
PTP 2025 was at Fripp last weekend and we had a blast. More than 1500 crazy fun people flocked to Fripp to celebrate life and all our victories over cancer.
We had 500 newbies and almost 300 survivors join our family and FlockStars came from 49 states and 8 countries this year. Yes, 8. We’re basically international chaos at this point.
So many beautiful people. So many sweaty hugs. So much proof that humanity still exists. And without a doubt, that love conquers all.
The weather could not have been more perfect. I swear that God loves boobs. Like, clearly.
We crammed so much into four short days. We passed out Depends as prizes because we were laughing so hard. It was that level of stupid joy.
The courses, the activities, the shenanigans… and let’s not forget the money being raised.
I got talked into supporting a Million Dollar March this year and I thought they were all loco until the thermometer kept rising.
That baby just kept adding fuel to everyone’s fire so by the time we unloaded the trucks at the warehouse and drove to OKI, our eyeballs were popping out.
It was only fitting that we hit ONE MILLION FREAKING DOLLARS whilst in OKI and that our very own Fabien/Anita put us over the top.
So many screams. So many tears. So much drama. The local radio station even heard us and ran over to see what the raucous was all about and next thing we knew, thousands of people were screaming for us and honking their horns and dancing jigs around our donation bucket. We basically shut down the town with joy and glitter and feelings.
It was a perfect end to PTP 2025.
And we can’t wait to do it again.
Yup, we’re going for another cool million in 2026 (which starts on Nov 1) and we are changing the weekend schedule a bit to cram in even more fun for everyone at OKI.
Fancy is celebrating her Sweet 16 with a Mardi Gras masquerade theme… or as we call it, a Mardi Bras Party.
We can’t wait to let the good times roll and celebrate another year of victories with everyone.
This flock is truly my rock. I just hope they know that.
