Blog Header (1)

Phew, it is a crazy busy day here at Peptol Bismol headquarters as we try to reconcile everyone’s registration, fundraising, transportation, and a ton of other details.

But we’re starting with yall, our beautiful survivors and thrivers. Because yall are our first priority, always.

Please click this link to download the Survivor Spreadsheet and check it to make sure your name is on it and that the shirt size is correct. If you see any discrepancies or errors, please reply to this email as soon as possible and tell us what needs to be corrected.

Secondly, we would love it if you would share a photo of yourself so that we can play a slideshow at the survivor luncheon on Thursday. Ideally, it is a picture of you at PTP but if you’re new or have no flattering photos (I get it!) then please upload your favorite pic here:  https://pledgethepink.com/survivor-picture-upload/

Lastly, we will be doing a special group photo this year including having all of our survivors and thrivers lined up to make a giant pink ribbon. This is going to be tricky so we thought we’d do a practice run on Friday at Dataw.

  1. Immediately after the Survivor Celebration/2026 announcement, please listen carefully as we try to gather yall on the golf course and lay out the ribbon’s perimeter.

  2. It doesn’t matter what you are wearing – that comes on Sunday!

  3. Please be quiet while we try to herd everyone into place and figure this thing out

  4. Once we are all in place, Jack will take the picture with his drone.

  5. Before you run off, please remember what position you are in, who is standing around you, and memorize your exact location as best as possible.

On Sunday morning, we need you at the Fripp Island beach (at the start line behind the beach club) by 7am. And we ask that you please wear pink. Any shade will do and yes, you can have other colors or costumes on as well. We just want to make sure that everyone’s top half is pink.

As we are herding the other 1725 people into a giant PTP next to you, we will help all survivors back into the pink ribbon and yall will go to the same position you were in on Friday. We will snap the photos as soon as we’ve spelled out PTP and your ribbon. Which will take a while so patience is necessary.

When we are done, yall need to go to the start line, as our survivors always begin our races. Get towards the front of the line.

We will begin passing around candles for yall to hold and somehow you will light them without catching each other on fire.

Still with me?

Ok, as soon as yall are lit, we will start the race and release you for the first two minutes. There will be buckets of water on the beach ahead where you can throw your candles before we release the rest of the pack.

Then off you go.

Pix and videos will capture everything.

It will be sunrise. With candles. And 275 bad ass women marching on the beach as one.

It will be powerful. And filled with love.

Just like you.

Cheers yall!
Laura
