Traveling

Hilton Head Island is homebase this year and it has its own airport (HHH). is 50 minutes from the Savannah airport. Both have discount carriers and will be full of FlockStars to carpool with so study them both.

We have a rideshare board on Facebook if you want to find friends with empty seats and/or if you want to offer any extra space you might have to a fellow flocker.

Once you register for the event, you’ll be given access to the list of all registrants in your private dashboard. Everyone will be listed by city and state so you can easily sort the list to find people near your hometown. Not only will you meet new neighbors and training buddies, but yall can also see if carpooling to the event makes any sense.

Every year the interstates are clogged with pink-clad vehicles headed to the lowcountry. Many of the travelers have only known each other for a few hours but are playing the License Plate Game like they’ve been sisters forever.

Reach out and touch somebody. It’ll be more fun and a lot cheaper!

Accommodations

Most people are staying on Hilton Head Island. In addition to tons of hotels, the island has plenty of houses and condos available for rent on places like AirBnb or VRBO.

Stay at our host hotel, Palmetto Dunes, and enter code PTPWALK2021 at booking to save 10% on select Home & Villa rentals!

Book your special rate room at The Omni Oceanfront Resort by calling Omni Central Reservations at 1-800-843-6664. Ask for the Group Code 101021PLEDGETHE.

Again, don’t forget to check in the group Facebook page and see if people have an extra bedroom or two available in their rental. You can split the cost with them and have new BFFs before we even start!

If you end up booking something and have an empty bed or two, post it on the chat club page and adopt a solo flocker!

Food

A most important subject! Hilton Head Island is FULL of must-try restaurants! Here is a list of some local favorites, but we encourage you to do some research and find some great dining options that fit your tastebuds!m Fripp.

If you’re renting a house, condo, or villa equipped with a kitchen, there are tons of grocery stores, delis and bakeries on the island so you can stock up.

Stay in the Loop!
