Every dime of your donations\/fundraising goes to this fund and is tax deductible.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">And we are super excited to shower you with love, appreciation, and prizes for all efforts!<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-365 \" src=\"https:\/\/pledgethepink.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/05\/2018-Fundraising-Prizes-v2.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"480\" height=\"402\" \/><\/span><\/p>\n<h3><strong>Bonus Prizes &amp; Incentives<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">From time to time, we will add bonus fundraising prizes!<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>During the month of May, every registrant that donates\/fundraises at least $100 between May 1-31 will win our new Pledge the Pink car magnet!<\/b><\/p>\n<h3><strong><b><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-338 aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/pledgethepink.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/05\/PTP-30-magnet-300x271.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"263\" height=\"238\" \/><\/b><\/strong><\/h3>\n<p><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">*Please note that this particular prize is given for donations made in the month of May only. Prior fundraising totals don\u2019t count towards this particular bonus incentive, nor will donations made after May 31.<\/span><\/i><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Future bonuses and contests will be announced via email and posted in our <a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/groups\/pledgethepink\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Facebook group page<\/a>. We will also try to keep this page up to date.<\/span><\/p>\n<h3><strong>Flocks of Love Flamingos<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">In addition to the prizes above, you will also <\/span><b>earn a bird in our Flocks of Love (FOL) display for every $50 you raise<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>Your race packet will include a sheet that shows how much money you raised, what prizes you earned, and how many flamingos are waiting for you in the flock.<strong><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignright wp-image-353 \" src=\"https:\/\/pledgethepink.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/05\/FOL-black-hat.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"399\" height=\"266\" \/><\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Lots of people bring costumes and props for their flamingos, and really go crazy decorating their birds!<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">We will also have little note cards for you to write personal messages and tie them to your birds. This is a great way for you to thank your donors and honor people that have inspired you on this journey.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Take tons of pictures and tag your friends and supporters. Let them see \u201ctheir\u201d flamingo\u2026 and the 1999 that stand beside her.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">You can decorate your birds either before or after the race on Saturday.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">If you\u2019d like to take your birds home with you, we ask that you leave them in the display until at least 11:30am so that everyone can enjoy their beauty and appreciate the magnitude of what these 2000 flamingos represent.<\/span><\/p>\n<h3><strong>Facebook Online Auction<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">We\u2019ve created a special \u201cbuy\/sell\u201d Facebook group so that you can raise money by selling flamingo goodies, gift cards, vacation vouchers, and other fun stuff!<\/span><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/groups\/224545684774905\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>Click here to join the group<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Get your favorite stores to donate gift cards for the cause and post them on our auction page. Approved buyers will purchase the items by making a donation to your fundraising page and you\u2019ll get the credit!<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">This is also a great place to sell tickets, service vouchers, and other easily transferable items.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">If you want to make shirts, jewelry, or have other products that would be of interest to your fellow flockers, use our auction to share with the world!\u00a0We&#8217;ve put together a wishlist below that you can share with your friends and family to gather donations for the auction!<\/span><\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-357 \" src=\"https:\/\/pledgethepink.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/05\/FOL-Silent-Auction-Wishlist-1.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"481\" height=\"403\" \/><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">You can set a minimum bid, list a \u201cbuy now\u201d price, and provide detailed descriptions with your posted pictures.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">If you don\u2019t have a fundraising page but still want to donate items to help us raise money, winning buyers can make a fast donation on our website and simply add your name and auction item info in the special messaging section.
