Each bird represents $100 raised in the fight against breast cancer. For those of you that make a donation or fundraise on our behalf, there will be one pink flamingo in our flock for every $100 you raised.<\/p>\n<p class=\"ptp-list-headline\">How it all works<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Every donation you make, or that is made in your name prior to the event will be \u201ccredited\u201d to your fundraising account<\/li>\n<li>You can also make additional donations at our Thursday Packet Pickup Party or anytime during event weekend (yes, you can bring <img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" class=\" wp-image-687 alignright\" src=\"https:\/\/pledgethepink.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/01\/44691565105_702a18373a_z.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"375\" height=\"250\" srcset=\"https:\/\/pledgethepink.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/01\/44691565105_702a18373a_z.jpg 640w, https:\/\/pledgethepink.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/01\/44691565105_702a18373a_z-300x200.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 375px) 100vw, 375px\" \/>cash\/checks from your friends back home and we will apply them to your fundraising account!)<\/li>\n<li>Decorate your bird(s) however you\u2019d like. Bring doll-sized clothing, make a funny costume, apply makeup\u2026 do whatever you want!<\/li>\n<li>Yes, you can take your flamingo(s) home with you or you can leave them with us to reuse for next year&#8217;s fundraising campaign (which will save us some money)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p class=\"ptp-list-headline\">Prizes<\/p>\n<p>If you would like to receive the fundraising prize packages, please make sure you check the YES box in your dashboard. If you would rather NOT get the incentive prizes, please make sure you check the NO button.<\/p>\n<p>The deadline for fundraising prize totals is September 15. This means <em><strong>we must have the donations in our hands by September 15; no exceptions<\/strong><\/em> (sorry, prizes postmarked by September 15 but not received by Pledge the Pink will not be eligible towards fundraising prize totals).<\/p>\n<p>If you checked yes and you qualify for prizes, your prize bags will be waiting for you at Packet Pickup.<\/p>\n<p>Please note that we will only give them to you- not friends or team members. Please take a screen shot of your final number and either email that to us or bring a hard copy of it with you to the event.
