Most commonly known for as Super Bowl Squares, selling squares can be adapted for fundraising throughout the year and is a really easy option to execute!<\/strong><\/p>

Use it to at a baby shower to have fun selecting the baby\u2019s due date. Or create several \u201csquare games\u201d with some of the bigger match ups during March Madness (why do a bracket like everyone else when you can make even more money doing squares for four or five of the big games)?<\/p>

Step 1:<\/strong> Start off with an empty 10 by 10 grid. This format gives you 100 squares to sell and whether you choose $1 a square or $5, or $10, etc.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t

Step 2:<\/strong> Depending on what game you are playing this may change but we’ll use basketball since we have March Madness coming up as our example. For the particular game that you are selling squares for, you assign a team to the column and the other to the rows.<\/p>

Step 3:<\/strong> Sell your squares! For each person that buys a square, put their name in the square they choose.<\/p>

Step 4:<\/strong> Once all your squares have been filled, RANDOMLY number your columns and rows with numbers 0\u20139. Some suggestions for random numbering are writing the numbers on pieces of paper and drawing them out of hat, or drawing cards, or even rolling dice (though I have heard dice can take quite a bit longer since you can easily get doubles. \ud83d\ude42<\/p>

Step 5:<\/strong> You’re ready for the game! After the game, the winner is determined by looking at the last number in each teams’ score, and then matching those numbers on the grid and seeing which square intersects those two numbers. For example, Team A is across the top and scores 23 points; Team B is along the side and scores 14 points. Across the top, you would find the column with the number 3, and the row with number 4\u2026 the square where these two intersect is the winner!<\/p>
