Primarily on trails and pathway, plus a mile and a half on the beach, which is hard-packed sand.

*Note that there is a 3 mile stretch between 2 of our pitstops on this day

Parking

If you are driving a vehicle to the start line, you’ll be directed to park on Fiddlers Circle and walk to the start line which is at the Springtide Market parking lot.

Golf carts will be directed to park between Fiddlers Circle and the Market. Please listen to our volunteers and park where they guide you.

If you would like for us to move your golf cart to the finish line while you are racing, please turn your golf cart placard to the green side.

If you opt to leave your cart at the start line parking, you are responsible for getting it after you cross the finish line at the Beach Club.

Gate Passes

Gate passes will be available at the guard house at Fripp for guests not staying at the Resort. Just tell them you are with Pledge the Pink.

What To Do When You Arrive
  1. Sign the Honor Board if you didn’t do it Thursday
  2. Drop your bag at the Bag Drop. Bag drop will be boxes placed in pickup trucks to be transported to our post race party. Boxes will labeled, so look for the first letter of your last name and drop your bag in the corresponding box.
  3. Please be at the start line before 9am. We can’t wait on you!

Shortcut
We will have shuttles at the lighthouse to take you back to Fripp and drop you close to the finish line. This abbreviated course will be about five miles.
Pitstops and Toilets

Pit Stops & Potty Breaks will be located at the following mile markers. Pitstops include water, gatorade, and snacks which might include: fruit, cookies, energy bites, popsicles, popcorn, veggies, trailmix, rice krispy treats, and a lot more!

Lighthouse Admission
For an admission of $2 (cash only), visitors can climb the 167 steps and walk around the observation deck for a lofty view of the barrier island and surrounding seascape. CHILDREN MUST BE AT LEAST 44″ TALL TO CLIMB THE LIGHTHOUSE.

Only six visitors may enter the lighthouse at one time, with staggered entrance, to provide a more unique visitor experience and to assist in preserving this historic structure.

The After Party

The After Party is just steps away from our Flocks of Love finish line at the Beach Club. We will have food, drink, music, merchandise, and all the other stuff that was set up on Thursday at the Packet Pickup & Party.

  • Anything you left at the bag drop will have been brought to the finish line.
  • Starting at 11:00 AM, we’ll provide a gourmet lunch. Fripp will be selling alcoholic beverages and you can also buy lunch for your guests (cash and credit cards accepted but cash is always fastest)!
  • DJ Alan will be spinning platters leading the pool-side shenanigans and games
Survivor Celebration

Our survivor celebration, sponsored by MUSC, will begin at 1:15 PM. We ask all breast cancer survivors to meet us at the DJ area by 1pm so we can get you ready for the presentation.

All registrants and guests are invited to attend the celebration. If you’re feet are hurting or if you are busy doing something else, please watch the live streaming broadcast on our Facebook chat club page.

Our volunteers will move all of these “key chained” vehicles to the Beach Club and park them in chronological order. So please remember the number on your golf cart.

1:15PM - Survivor Celebration

Cheering Section

Drop your FlockStar off at the start line and then drive to Lighthouse; you’ll need to pay an entrance free at the gate and then follow signs to the lighthouse. After you’ve hugged your person then drive back towards Fripp and park at the Nature Center which is on the left just before the Fripp bridge. Then drive to Fripp and walk to the beach club for finish line. If you have a golf cart on Fripp, please drive home and then take cart to the finish line
