They inspire us daily. They are the bravest and toughest people you know. Some are in the middle of their fight, some are celebrating their victory, and others are watching us from above.
They are breast cancer warriors. And we walk for them.
Every year we come together to love, honor, hug, and pay tribute to them.
And celebrate their incredible lives.
Our Survivor & Thriver Goodie Bags
Every breast cancer survivor/thriver that registers for Pledge the Pink will receive a goodie bag that includes a custom Survivor shirt and other small gifts. Please make sure that you check “breast cancer survivor” in your dashboard so that we include your name on the shirt and to ensure that we have a bag waiting for you (this is in addition to your registrant swag bag that you’ll get at the packet pickup party).
Our Survivor & Thriver Luncheon
Thursday, October 16
Open to all our breast cancer registrants, our annual Survivor Luncheon will be held at the Dataw Island Ballroom from 11:30am – 1:30pm. This is an opportunity for you to meet fellow warriors and share stories in a more intimate setting before our weekend even officially begins.
Please note that the luncheon is only for Pledge the Pink registrants that are survivors and thrivers. No friends, family, or supporters are allowed so that everyone feels comfortable sharing their stories and bonding in a private setting.

We’d also like to honor you with a slideshow at Thursday’s luncheon. If you would please upload a picture of yourself at a previous Pledge the Pink event, or a favorite photo anywhere along your cancer journey, we will take care of the rest. COMING SOON
Our Survivor & Thriver Celebration
Friday, October 17
Held at 12:30pm on Friday under the big tent at the Fripp Island Beach Club, we invite all cancer survivors to gather around the stage and be recognized. This is open to ALL cancer survivors, not just those with breast cancer. Several of our registrants will be invited to speak on stage so we can hear their stories and share in their journeys.
Leaders of the Flock
Each morning as we stand at the start line, we ask that all of our survivors and thrivers come to the front of the line so that y’all can lead the pack each day. Lock arms, hold hands, and soak in all the love and respect from your fellow FlockStars. Please don’t be shy! This is really important for everyone to recognize & thank you for reminding us #whywewalk.
