This will be our fourth time visiting Fripp Island and it really feels like we’re going home! This island and its beautiful resort community are just an absolute perfect fit for Pledge the Pink. These folks know how to put on a party and roll out the pink carpet.
Miles of deserted beaches, hundreds of zipping golf carts, acres of wetlands and wildlife habitat (including the tamest deer in the world) make Fripp Island the ideal Headquarters for us as we venture off to Habersham and Dataw Island.

Guest Cards
Golf Carts
Many resort properties come with golf carts, but if yours doesn’t or if you’d like to upgrade, contact Fripp Island Carts at 843-838-1518. We’re offering a 15% discount on all golf cart rentals for Pledge the Pink! You can also book online using the code PTP15. Guest cards are not required to rent carts. The cart pick-up is conveniently located just beyond the gates of Fripp at 203 Tarpon Blvd.
Not staying at the resort?
No worries! You do not need a gate pass to access the island during Pledge the Pink weekend if you’re participating in the event. Flockstars are welcome all weekend long!
Getting to Paradise
Fripp is within a five or six hour drive from the Carolinas, Georgia, northern Florida so we see a lot of those license plates pull up to paradise covered in pink. Join our Facebook group to find new friends that need a ride or are offering an extra seat or two in their vehicle.
Coming from afar? Fly into one of three nearby airports and then rent a car with friends or post on our group page and see if you can arrange an airport pickup and ride to Fripp. Many best friends have met this way!
The closest airports are:
Savannah SAV – approximately 70 miles and 1:45 minutes
Hilton Head Island HHH – 60 miles and about 1:30 minutes
Charleston CHS – 93 miles and about 2 hours
Parking & Transportation
One of the cool things about being based at Fripp is that you really don’t ever need your car. Park it, hop on your golf cart, and you are good to go all weekend.
Our buses will take you to and from Dataw and Habersham so there’s no need to drive. And all the afternoon and evening activities on Fripp, plus the Fripp start line on Sunday, have plenty of golf cart parking.
