The Pledge the Pink 2020 live event has been cancelled due to COVID, therefore the following refund policy is no longer applicable. All registrants have been transferred to a new virtual event and have been notified via email and on social media.
If you need to cancel your registration, send an email to firstname.lastname@example.org and we will process your refund as follows:
Cancel before March 1 and get a refund minus $50 cancellation fee
Cancel before July 1 and get a refund minus $100 cancellation fee
Cancel before Sept 1 and get a refund minus $150 cancellation fee
We are unable to issue a refund for cancellations after Sept 1 or for any payments made by instalments.
We do not allow transfers or deferments.
If you have decided you will not join us in 2020 due to COVID-19, please contact email@example.com to discuss your options.
If it is pouring rain, we are racing.
If it is snowing, we are racing.
If it is hot, we are racing.
If it is cold, we are racing.
If the sky is full of locusts (ha, or love bugs), we are racing.
A little rain won’t stop us but Pledge the Pink does have the right to delay, cancel, or suspend the race due to inclement weather or other potential safety risks (like lightning).

Pledge the Pink reserves the right to change the details of the event, including locations and courses. PTP may delay, cancel, or suspend the race due to inclement weather or other potential safety risks. Participants must retire at once from the race if ordered to do so by event officials, medical staff, or any governmental authority, including firefighters and police officers. Pledge the Pink is not responsible for the event being cancelled due to a weather, terrorist, or other national emergency. No refunds, transfer, or deferments can be issued for acts of God or national/state emergency. IF for some reason we must cancel an event due to uncontrollable weather conditions or other emergencies, emails will be sent to all registered racers and announcements will be made on our website and through social networking channels.
In consideration of my entry being accepted, I intend to be legally bound, and hereby for myself, my heirs, and executors, waive all rights and claims for damages which may hereafter accrue to me against the sponsors, officials, volunteers, and supporters of this event and any representatives, successors, or assigns for any and all damages or injuries which may be sustained and suffered by me in consideration of my association with an entry or participation in any Pledge The Pink events.
If I should suffer injury or illness, I authorize the event officials to use their discretion to have me transported to a medical facility, and I take full financial and legal responsibility for this action.
I attest and verify that I am physically fit and have my physician’s permission to participate in this race.
I hereby grant full permission to any and all of the foregoing to use any photographs, videotapes, or any other record of this event for any purpose of the event whatsoever.
I have read the above release and understand that it presents a risk of physical injury, knowing this I am entering this event at my own risk.
