Parking/Transportation

We definitely need your help and cooperation this fall to ensure there’s enough parking for everyone. Please review the “rules” below and put a plan together with your peeps so you can kick back and enjoy the weekend (and others can, too).

FRIDAY

Thursday

12-2pm - Survivor & Thriver Luncheon at the Ritz Carlton, 4750 Amelia Island Parkway

Valet parking only at the resort; please bring cash for tips.

2:30pm - 7:30pm - Packet Pickup Party at Main Beach Park, 32 N Fletcher

While we don’t have tons of parking at our home base, it will be enough for our Thursday night Packet Pickup Party. We normally have a flood of people during the first hour and then it evens out for the remainder of the night so make plans with your posse accordingly.

Friday

8am Start: Peter’s Point Park
4600 Peters Point Road

9:30-2pm After Party: Main Beach Park 32 N Fletcher

There are 315 parking spaces at Peter’s Point so do the math - yikes!

Have no fear, as long as everyone follows the rules, we’ll be fine.

We will allow the first 315 cars with AT LEAST THREE PEOPLE into the lot starting at 6:15am. Once we are full there, you’ll have to park at Main Beach and take our buses to Peter’s Point (see below).

Our Plea

Staying near Main Beach?

If you are staying near Main Beach then please carpool to the parking lot there and hop on our buses starting at 6am. They will run continuously until 7:45am and take you directly to Peter’s Point. Likewise, they will take you back to Main Beach for our After Party between 9:30am and 2:05pm.

Parking at Peter's Point?

If you are able to park at Peter’s Point on Friday morning, please take the shuttle buses from the finish line to Main Beach for the After Party as there are only 100 spaces at the park. The buses will run continuously from 9:30am to 2:05pm.

It is approximately a 10-minute drive from each park (plus loading/unloading time) so please plan accordingly.

Saturday

8am Start: Main Beach Park 32 N Fletcher

After Party: Main Beach from 9:30am-2pm

Shuttles from Fernandina Beach Middle and High schools (315 Citrona Dr and 435 Citrona Dr) will run continuously from 6am-2:45pm

Our Plea

We will be manning the parking lot at Main Beach and will have signs telling you that the lots are full and to go to schools (we suggest you just go directly to the schools and save yourself the congestion and headache).

Note that there are two schools adjacent to each other and there are multiple parking lots. Just look for the school buses that are closest to you and our volunteers will get you on board starting at 6am.

Buses will return to the schools starting at 9:30am and run continuously until 2:45 (after the live auction is done).

Sunday

7:30am Start: Main Beach Park 32 N Fletcher

After Party: Main Beach from 9:00am-1:45pm

Shuttles from Fernandina Beach Middle & High schools (315 Citrona Dr and 435 Citrona Dr) will run continuously from 5:45am-1:45pm
